Ndidi, 28, is now available at a significantly reduced fee due to a release clause in his contract that was activated by Leicester’s relegation. Reports suggest the Nigerian midfielder could be secured for around £9 million, prompting a flurry of interest from clubs across Europe.
Alongside Juventus, Manchester United, Everton, Crystal Palace, and Fulham are reportedly monitoring Ndidi’s situation. Real Betis have also joined the race from Spain’s La Liga, while Turkish side Besiktas and clubs in the Saudi Pro League have also been linked.
Manchester United in particular are believed to view Ndidi as a cost effective option to reinforce their midfield, especially with uncertainty surrounding Casemiro’s future.
Despite Leicester’s relegation, Ndidi remains highly rated for his consistent defensive displays and midfield stability. Last season, he made nearly 30 appearances for the Foxes, contributing key assists and maintaining a strong presence in central midfield.
Over the course of his Leicester career, he has made more than 300 appearances and was instrumental in the club’s FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs.
Ndidi’s current contract runs until 2027, but with Leicester now outside the top flight, the club is expected to offload high earners. For Ndidi, this summer presents a pivotal opportunity to return to top level football, with several competitive leagues offering different pathways.
As Juventus evaluate their options and other suitors circle, the coming weeks could decide where the Nigerian star lands next.
