Jude Bellingham Agrees Real Madrid Contract Extension Until 2031

Posted : 17 October 2026

Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with England midfielder Jude Bellingham to extend his contract until June 2031. The 23-year-old's existing deal was due to expire in 2029, but the proposed extension would secure his future at the Santiago Bernabéu for another two years. Reports from Spain indicate that the agreement includes improved financial terms, although an official announcement is still awaited.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in 2023 and quickly established himself as one of the club's most influential players. He helped the Spanish giants win major trophies, including La Liga and the UEFA Champions League during his first season. The reported renewal reflects the club's desire to retain a key figure in its midfield for the long term.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool have been told they would need to pay more than £60 million to sign Brentford winger Kevin Schade. The 24-year-old Germany international has attracted attention following his performances in the Premier League. Brentford are keen to retain him and have also held discussions over a new contract.

Leeds United are monitoring Marseille forward Igor Paixão as the French club reportedly considers player sales amid financial concerns. The Brazilian winger is among the players being linked with a possible departure, although no agreement with Leeds has been confirmed.

Barcelona defender Jules Koundé is also attracting interest from several leading European clubs. Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring the French international's situation. Koundé's future has come under scrutiny amid questions about his role at Barcelona, but there is no confirmed agreement for a transfer.

Barcelona are reportedly reluctant to enter a bidding contest for Manchester United's 16-year-old attacking midfielder JJ Gabriel. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be prepared to offer more attractive financial terms as the teenager considers his future.

Newcastle United are reportedly making little progress in negotiations over a new contract for midfielder Joe Willock. The 27-year-old remains admired by manager Matthias Jaissle, but uncertainty continues over his long-term future at St James' Park.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has reportedly agreed to a contract extension that would keep him at Elland Road until 2029. The new deal would provide continuity as the club continues its work under the German coach.

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has also indicated that discussions with England captain Harry Kane over a new contract are progressing well. However, no formal agreement has been announced, leaving the striker's long-term future in Munich subject to further negotiations.

At AC Milan, former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is reportedly expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season. The Italian club is said to have little prospect of agreeing fresh terms with the 28-year-old Englishman.

Real Madrid could also consider sending Morocco international Brahim Díaz out on loan in January. The forward has reportedly fallen down the pecking order following the emergence of Brazilian youngster Endrick, potentially opening the door to a temporary move elsewhere.
