Jack Grealish's future at Manchester City remains uncertain after the England international was left out of the club's pre-season tour of Hong Kong and South Korea. Although the midfielder reported for training with the squad last week, he did not travel with the team as he continues his recovery from the foot injury that ended his loan spell at Everton earlier this year.

The injury not only brought an early end to Grealish's encouraging spell at Everton but also dashed his hopes of forcing his way into England's World Cup squad. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and defender Josko Gvardiol provide experience alongside emerging talents as Maresca prepares for his first matches in charge.

Manchester City's tour begins with a friendly against Serie A champions Inter Milan before further fixtures against the K-League All Stars and Atletico Madrid in Seoul.
