Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Inter Lagos FC have stepped up efforts to strengthen their squad as preparations intensify for the club's maiden campaign in Nigeria's top-flight league.
The Lagos-based outfit is currently holding a pre-season training camp at the Ilaji Sports Resort in Ibadan, Oyo State, where the technical crew is assessing the fitness and performances of returning players while identifying new talent through a series of trials.
The camp forms a key part of the club's strategy to assemble a competitive squad capable of meeting the demands of the 2026/27 NPFL season.
With the new league campaign fast approaching, Inter Lagos are working to improve team cohesion, sharpen tactical awareness and enhance the players' physical conditioning ahead of what promises to be a demanding season.
The coaching staff are also focused on recruiting quality additions to strengthen key positions as the club prepares for the rigours of a lengthy domestic campaign, which will include extensive travel and fierce competition against some of the country's established top-flight clubs.
Having secured promotion, Inter Lagos are determined to make an immediate impact in their debut NPFL season. The club is targeting consistency and competitiveness as it embarks on a new chapter in its history.
