Kun Khalifat Academy will begin its campaign in the 2026 Imo State FA Cup with a first-round clash against Evermore FC, following the official draw held on Tuesday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
The academy side, also known as Kun Khalifat B, is scheduled to take on Evermore FC on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the OISA Stadium, Okpala, with kickoff set for 3PM. The encounter represents the club's first step in its push for dominance in this year's competition.
In contrast, the senior team, Kun Khalifat FC, has been handed a significant advantage after drawing a bye in the opening round. The NPFL side will now enter the tournament at the second round stage as they aim to reclaim the title they previously won.
The opening day of fixtures will also see Campos FC B square off against Captain Marvel FC at 1PM, ahead of the Kun Khalifat Academy fixture later in the day.
