Benin Arsenals Vow to Leave Lagos with Heads Held High

Bendel Insurance FC will be desperate to turn around their early-season struggles as they travel to face Ikorodu City FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 8 encounter.

The Benin Arsenals have endured a difficult start to the new campaign, securing just one win from their opening seven matches of the season.

Their last victory came in Match Day 4 — a narrow 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes — before suffering a home defeat to league leaders Nasarawa United FC on Match Day 7 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Following the dismissal of head coach Greg Ikhenoba, Bendel Insurance find themselves under mounting pressure to deliver a positive result against Ikorodu City FC.
