Ikorodu City FC continued their fine run of form in the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a commanding 2–0 away win over Warri Wolves in a Match Day 12 clash on Sunday.
The victory at the Ozoro Stadium marked the Oga Boys’ fourth win in five games, extending their unbeaten streak to seven matches and pushing them closer to the league summit.
Tomisin Adebayo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute, finishing off a well-worked team move, before Goodluck Anuba doubled the advantage just before half-time to seal all three points for the Lagos-based side.
The result lifts Ikorodu City to third place on the log with 21 points, just two points behind leaders Nasarawa United and one behind Abia Warriors in second.
Speaking after the game, Head Coach Bright Ozadegbe praised his players for their determination and focus throughout the encounter.
“My team deserve the win because we worked hard for it. The boys have shown great character, especially away from home,” Ozadegbe said.
Ikorodu City will look to maintain their impressive momentum when they return home for their next league fixture.
