Iheanacho, Fatawu shine in FA Cup; Lyon edges Strasbourg

Kelechi Iheanacho and Issahaku Abdul Fatawu played pivotal roles in Leicester City's 1-0 extra-time victory over AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup 5th round on Tuesday night. Initially on the bench, both players were brought on in the 64th minute. Despite a goalless regular time, Iheanacho set up Fatawu, who unleashed an unstoppable strike into the far corner, securing Leicester's place in the quarterfinals.


In France, Olympique Lyonnais advanced to the Coupe de France semifinals, defeating Strasbourg on penalties. Gift Orban, who replaced Alexandre Lacazette in the 66th minute, contributed during the shootout, converting Lyon's second penalty for a 4-3 victory.
