Harry Kane is ready to begin negotiations with Bayern Munich over a new contract after entering the final year of his current four-year agreement.
The England captain said discussions are expected to begin this week or next, with both sides remaining relaxed about his future.
Kane has been outstanding since joining Bayern from Tottenham in 2023, scoring 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions last season as the club secured the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double.
He has also won three consecutive Bundesliga Golden Boot awards and has scored 98 league goals in 94 appearances for the German champions.
The 33-year-old also enjoyed an impressive 2026 World Cup with England and is among the leading contenders for the Ballon d'Or. However, Kane said his attention is now firmly on the new season, stressing that the individual award is beyond his control.
