Green Targets Successful NNL Campaign After Taking Charge of Godswill Akpabio United

Godswill Akpabio United Football Club has entrusted Edward Green with the responsibility of leading the team into the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season after unveiling him as its new head coach.

The appointment signals the club's determination to strengthen its technical structure and build a competitive side capable of challenging for honours in the new campaign.

Green was formally presented to supporters, stakeholders, members of the media, and invited guests during a ceremony on Friday, where club officials expressed confidence in his ability to drive the club's long-term vision.

General Manager Kufre Inima said the former coach emerged as the standout candidate following a rigorous recruitment process.
