Ademola Ola-Adebomi, a prospect invited to the 2023 Flying Eagles, has reportedly extended his contract with Crystal Palace in the Premier League before embarking on a loan move to the Football League.
According to renowned Italian transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the promising Crystal Palace striker has agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Eagles and will be promptly sent on loan to further his development.
During the remainder of the season, Ola-Adebomi is expected to be on loan at League One club Burton Albion.
The 20-year-old has exhibited outstanding form since the season's commencement, scoring thirteen goals across various competitions for Palace's development squad. This includes seven in the Premier League 2, four in the Premier League Cup, and one each in the EFL Trophy and Premier League International Cup.
His exceptional performance led to his nomination for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November and December 2023.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is closely monitoring the academy product's performances, having included him in squads for Premier League matches against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester City, as well as the Carabao Cup match against the Red Devils.
Ola-Adebomi is set to join forces with Tolaji Bola, another product of the Arsenal academy, who has been loaned to Burton Albion from Rotherham United for the remainder of the season.
