Fiorentina submit improved bid for Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare

Fiorentina have stepped up their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare by submitting an improved offer to Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Serie A club have proposed a loan deal that includes a €22 million purchase clause as they seek to strengthen their attacking options. Negotiations between Fiorentina and Wolves are continuing, with both clubs working towards reaching an agreement.

Arokodare is reportedly open to the move and views Fiorentina as the right destination to continue his development. The 25-year-old believes regular football in Serie A would provide an ideal platform to further establish himself at club and international level.

Fiorentina have identified the Nigerian forward as one of their priority attacking targets during the summer transfer window. The club is keen to add more firepower to its squad as it prepares for another campaign in domestic and European competitions.
