NWFL Nationwide: El Lado Boosts Kwara United Queens with Support, Victory Pledge

Kwara United Queens have received a morale boost ahead of their NWFL Nationwide campaign after the Chief Executive Officer of El Lado Transport Service, Mohammed Olatunji El Lado, hosted the team in Asaba, Delta State.

El Lado used the occasion to charge the Ilorin-based players to approach their debut campaign with discipline, unity and total commitment, stressing that teamwork would be crucial to their chances of securing promotion to the Championship.

He urged the players to follow the instructions of Coach Ekun Shamsudeen and avoid putting unnecessary pressure on themselves as they pursue their ambition.

“Please play to instructions; that is the only thing that can help you. Don’t overstress yourself.

“Play as a team. With teamwork, success is ours. You are ambassadors of Kwara,” he told the players.

He also called on the Courageous Queens to conduct themselves positively throughout the competition and represent Kwara State with pride.

As part of his support for the team, El Lado donated beverages to the players and officials and promised to be present at the stadium to cheer the side during its matches.

He further pledged a handsome reward for the players if they succeed in lifting the NWFL Nationwide trophy.

Responding, Coach Shamsudeen thanked El Lado for the gesture and words of encouragement, assuring him that the team would give their best and leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of success.

Kwara United Queens left Ilorin in the early hours of Friday and arrived safely in Aba, Abia State, where the competition will take place from August 15 to 23.

The debutants have been placed in Group A alongside Solo Wonders Babes and Spunky Blazers, with promotion to the NWFL Championship their primary objective.
