The veteran coach previously served as Technical Adviser at Nasarawa United FC, a position he exited after a string of underwhelming results. He has also managed other NPFL sides, including Sunshine Stars, Kwara United, Lobi Stars, and Wikki Tourists.
The Desert Warriors officially unveiled Dogo as Zubairu’s replacement on Monday, noting that he will take charge of the club’s pre-season preparations and lead their push for domestic success in the new campaign.
“This appointment is a strategic move. Coach Dogo brings years of elite coaching experience in the NPFL, and we believe he is the right person to build on our recent successes,” a club official said.
The club’s management is optimistic that Dogo’s arrival will not only stabilize the team but also position El-Kanemi Warriors as strong contenders in both league and cup competitions.
Dogo is expected to hit the ground running immediately, overseeing player recruitment and tactical development as the team prepares for a challenging season ahead.
