Ekiti United Target Promotion as Vandi Backs Squad for 2026/2027 NNL Campaign

Ekiti United head coach, Jacob Vandi, says the club is determined to secure promotion in the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, expressing confidence in his players’ ability to deliver.

Vandi gave the assurance in an interview with the club’s Media Officer, stressing that the BAO Boys were preparing to approach the new campaign with determination, discipline, and a winning mentality.

The tactician said the team’s ambition was to compete strongly throughout the season and secure the promotion ticket that would make the government and people of Ekiti State proud.

He expressed confidence in his players’ quality, commitment, and ability to rise to the challenges of the second-tier league.

Vandi also acknowledged the contributions of the technical crew, commending its members for their dedication, cooperation, and commitment throughout the preparation period.

According to him, the collective efforts of the coaching staff remain crucial to building a competitive squad capable of achieving the club’s objectives.

The coach further appreciated the Ekiti State Government for its continued support, noting that the backing had encouraged the team to prepare adequately for the demanding campaign.

With preparations ongoing, Vandi and his technical crew are focused on ensuring that the players are tactically prepared and mentally equipped for the challenges ahead.
