2025/2026 NNL Season: Ekiti United Head Coach Calls for Fan Support

The Head Coach of Ekiti United FC, Bolarinwa Idris, has urged fans to support the team in their season opener against Stormer FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Speaking in an interview in Ado-Ekiti, Idris assured supporters that the squad has intensified training efforts ahead of the November 16 match at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, with the aim of securing a victory.

“The team is ready for this season, and we will give our fans a win,” Idris said. “I am appealing to our supporters to turn out in large numbers for the season opener. The team is well prepared for the match but needs fan energy and unconditional support to secure the three points.”

He also urged supporters to maintain discipline and display good sportsmanship during the match. “I understand that anxiety can lead to emotional displays during games, but I am appealing to our fans to show maturity and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the season,” he added.
