2025/2026 NNL Match Day 14: Early strike earns Solution FC victory over Ekiti United

Solution FC secured a narrow 1–0 win against Ekiti United in their Match Day 14 encounter of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) at the Awka City Stadium in Anambra State.

Head Coach Willy Udube kept faith with the same starting lineup that featured in the team’s previous outing against Stormers FC in Abeokuta.

The decisive moment came early in the game as Moses Amanekwe found the back of the net in the 10th minute. The tall forward reacted quickly to convert from close range after connecting with a well-delivered free kick from Chukwuemeka Okeke.

Solution FC maintained control for the remainder of the contest to secure all three points. The hosts nearly doubled their advantage in the closing moments of the match, but substitute Chigozie Anolue failed to convert from close range during a goalmouth scramble in the 90th minute.

Left-back Ayomide Adebayo was named Man of the Match for his performance and received a plaque along with a cash prize of ₦30,000 sponsored by Nolun Chattels Ltd.

Solution FC will now travel to Lagos for their next fixture against First Bank FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
