Dessers strives for more success after scoring 20th goal

Cyriel Dessers refuses to settle despite an impressive debut season with Rangers.


The Nigerian striker scored the winning goal in Rangers' 2-1 victory over St. Mirren at the SMISA Stadium on Sunday.


Despite criticism for his perceived wastefulness, Dessers silenced doubters by netting his 20th goal of the season.


Rangers opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, benefiting from a defensive error that Dessers exploited, resulting in an own goal.


However, St. Mirren quickly equalized through Mikael Mandron five minutes later.


With the game in the balance, Dessers seized the moment, expertly heading in a cross from James Tavernier to secure victory.


Reflecting on his milestone, Dessers expressed satisfaction but emphasized his desire for more achievements.


Dessers' impressive tally now stands at 20 goals and 8 assists in 49 appearances for Rangers this season, highlighting his crucial role in their pursuit of success.
