Katsina United handed defending champions Remo Stars a 3–1 defeat, with Uche Collins and Abdulrahman Garba scoring decisive goals.
Defending champions Remo Stars FC suffered their heaviest defeat of the season on Sunday at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, as Katsina United FC thrashed them 3–1.

Elijah Akanni opened the scoring for the visitors in the 31st minute, but Abubakar Ibrahim equalized for Remo Stars eight minutes later.
The home side regained control in the second half when Uche Collins converted a 61st-minute penalty. Abdulrahman Garba sealed the win deep into stoppage time, capitalizing on a goalkeeping error from Sabitou to make it 3–1.
The result leaves Remo Stars reeling as Katsina United continue to build momentum in the 2025/2026 NPFL season.
