Major Football Transfers Heating Up: Cunha to Man United, De Bruyne to Napoli, Ronaldo’s Future Uncertain

Several major moves are shaping up in world football as transfer season heats up. Manchester United is set to finalize the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £65.2 million, with the 26-year-old striker expected to undergo medical tests and sign a long-term deal soon.

 

Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne is on the verge of joining Napoli on a free transfer after Manchester City decided to release the veteran Belgian midfielder following a decade-long stint at the club.

 

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly interested in signing Leroy Sane, the Bayern Munich winger whose contract is ending soon. The club’s recent qualification for the Champions League has increased the likelihood of securing the deal.

 

In Saudi Arabia, Al Hilal is making a lucrative offer to Bruno Fernandes, proposing a weekly salary of £700,000, more than double what he currently earns at Manchester United. The club has given Fernandes 72 hours to respond to the deal, which could bring Manchester United around £100 million in transfer fees.

 

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remains a hot topic with several potential destinations being discussed. After his stint with Al Nassr, the 40-year-old striker could be moving to Mexico’s Monterrey, where his former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos recently signed.

 

Other options include a return to Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon, a possible move to Major League Soccer with a chance to reunite with Lionel Messi, or staying in Saudi Arabia by joining Al Nassr’s rivals Al Hilal. Additionally, interest from Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca and top Brazilian teams has also been reported.

 

In other news, French midfielder Ryan Sharkey, called up recently to the national team, is attracting attention from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain amid speculation that he will leave Lyon ahead of his contract year.

 

Meanwhile, Barcelona faces a busy transfer window as multiple clubs, including Sevilla and Villarreal, vie for Pau Victor’s signature. Barcelona is expected to soon decide on the promising attacker’s future ahead of the next season.
