Cristiano Ronaldo Stars as Al-Nassr Maintain Perfect Saudi League Record with 3-0 Win

Al-Nassr extended their flawless start to the Saudi Pro League season with a 3-0 victory over Al-Akhdood, powered by Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace and a late goal from Joao Felix. The win kept Al-Nassr at the top of the table with a perfect 30 points from 10 matches, four points clear of rivals Al-Hilal.

Ronaldo, approaching 41, continued his remarkable scoring streak in Saudi Arabia. In the 1,300th match of his professional career, the Portuguese forward netted twice in the first half. His first goal came in the 31st minute when he tapped in a corner deflected by Abdullah Al-Amri, while his second, just before halftime, was a deft heel finish from a Marcelo Brozovic cross. He also had a potential hat-trick in the 67th minute, but the goal was ruled out by VAR due to a preceding foul.

Joao Felix sealed the 3-0 win with a goal in the 94th minute, ensuring Al-Nassr’s dominance in the match and highlighting the prolific partnership between him and Ronaldo. Both players now share the top spot on the league’s scorers chart with 12 goals each after 10 matches.

The result underscored Al-Nassr’s superiority in the league this season. They have scored the most goals (33) and conceded the fewest (5), reinforcing their position as strong contenders for a major title in the Ronaldo era. With consistent performances and the star duo leading the line, Al-Nassr appear poised to continue their winning momentum.
