Confluence Queens FC has announced a major restructuring of its technical department as part of a strategic initiative to reposition the team in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
Following a review of recent performances, the club parted ways with coaches Abu Manama and Abdul Muhammed. In their place, Ojekunle Folabi has been appointed as the new Technical Adviser, while Okon Nsikakabasi and Esther Michael were named Assistant Coaches I and II, respectively. Goalkeeper Trainer Azzez has been retained and will continue in his current role with the team.
With four matches already played in the ongoing NWFL season and the relegation battle intensifying, the newly constituted technical team faces the immediate challenge of stabilizing the squad, improving results, and steering Confluence Queens away from the drop zone.
The club expressed confidence that the changes will bring fresh ideas and renewed momentum to the team as the season progresses. Further updates are expected as Confluence Queens FC embarks on this new technical direction.
