Coach Agagbe focuses on dreams in NPFL top four

Lobi Stars FC Coach Eugene Agagbe has restated the club's ambition to play continental football next season.

After Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 7, Lobi Stars comfortably sit atop the league table with 13 points following a 2-1 away victory over Bayelsa United FC at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

Agagbe confirmed that no one in the club's management has given him a specific target for the season but he is focused on finishing in the top three.

"No one in my management has given me a specific target, but as a coach, my goal is to finish within the top three this season, with an eye on continental football.

"We will not be distracted. The league has just started, and we will continue to work hard for more victories, both at home and away," he said.

Lobi Stars missed the opportunity to play in the continent last season, despite their participation in the Super Six.
