Ogbomoso United delivered a composed and efficient performance to defeat Alamu FA of Iwo 2-0, marking a swift return to form in the Oyo Alaafin NLO Pre-Season Tournament.

Coming off a narrow opening defeat to Heroes FC, the Wolekanle boys approached this encounter with clear intent, controlling possession and dictating the tempo from the outset. Their early dominance nearly paid off in the 7th minute, but a missed penalty denied them a dream start.

Rather than lose momentum, Ogbomoso United responded positively, maintaining pressure and probing for openings. Their persistence was eventually rewarded in the 26th minute when Mukhar broke the deadlock with a well-taken finish, giving his side a deserved lead heading into halftime.

After the restart, Ogbomoso United remained in control, displaying improved cohesion and tactical discipline.
