The zonal qualifying tournament will take place this week in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.

The four-day competition features both male and female categories, although Nigeria is participating only in the male division. Group A of the male category comprises hosts Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Niger Republic, while Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Benin Republic make up Group B.
