The 24-year-old joins the Women’s Super League (WSL) side ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, bringing both international pedigree and top-flight European experience. Nnadozie had a successful five-year stint in France, where she was a regular starter for Paris FC and played a key role in their domestic and continental campaigns.
Nnadozie, who has over 50 caps for the Nigerian national team, was one of the standout performers at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and has earned widespread recognition as one of Africa’s top goalkeepers. Known for her agility, composure, and leadership in goal, her addition is seen as a major boost to Brighton’s ambitions in the coming season.
Brighton’s head coach expressed confidence in the club’s latest signing, describing her as “a player who brings calm under pressure and experience on big stages.” Nnadozie is expected to compete for the starting role as Brighton look to climb higher up the WSL table.
In her reaction to the move, Nnadozie said the opportunity to join the English top flight is “a dream come true” and added that she is eager to take on new challenges in what is considered one of the most competitive women’s leagues in the world.
This transfer also marks an important milestone for Nigerian football, as more players from the Super Falcons continue to make their mark in elite European leagues.
