Bichi First FC Turns to Former Jigawa Golden Stars Coordinator for NNL Campaign

Bichi First FC have appointed experienced football administrator Abahuraira Dahiru as their new Team Coordinator as the club steps up preparations for the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

Dahiru, a former coordinator of Jigawa Golden Stars, is expected to bring his experience in team management, club administration, and logistics to the Bichi-based side as they pursue their ambitions in the second-tier league.

The club’s General Manager, Alhaji Kabiru Ibrahim Bichi, confirmed the appointment and formally introduced the new coordinator to the technical crew and players at the club’s secretariat in Bichi.

He said the decision aligned with the vision of the club’s Proprietor and President, Hon. Dr. Abubakar Kabir Abba Bichi, to strengthen the club’s administrative structure and professionalize its operations.

According to the General Manager, Dahiru’s experience with Jigawa Golden Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and NNL would be valuable in improving coordination, logistics, and the club’s daily activities.

He described the new appointee as a respected football administrator whose record at his previous club demonstrated his capacity to contribute meaningfully to Bichi First FC’s development.

Bichi expressed confidence that the appointment would enhance the club’s operational efficiency as it works towards securing promotion.

In his response, Dahiru thanked the club’s president and management for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to deploy his experience towards achieving the club’s objectives.

He described Bichi First FC as an ambitious club and promised to contribute his best to its success during the forthcoming campaign.

The appointment takes immediate effect, with Dahiru expected to assume his responsibilities as the club intensifies preparations for the new NNL season.
