Bichi First FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Adamawa United in their 2025/2026 NNL Match Day 4 encounter at the FCE Bichi New Site Stadium.
The home side dominated proceedings throughout the game, forcing the away team to sit deep and absorb pressure.
The first half ended goalless, but Bichi First FC made four substitutions at halftime, injecting fresh energy into their attack.
The changes paid off in the 56th minute when Abubakar Aliyu scored from a direct free kick, sending the home fans into raptures.
Aliyu’s strike proved to be the decisive moment of the game, earning him the SWAN and Sports Light Hub Man of the Match awards for his outstanding performance.
Bichi First FC Technical Adviser Abubakar Musa (Senior) praised his players for their resilience and discipline, despite missing several goal-scoring opportunities.

Musa also heaped praise on Aliyu, emphasizing his dedication and professionalism:
