2025 NLO Season: Best Talent FC Thrash Rescue FC 4–0

Best Talent Football Club of Mowe continued their impressive form ahead of the 2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) season, securing a 4–0 victory over Rescue FC at Car Park C, Redemption Arena, Mowe, Ogun State, in a pre-season tournament.

A brace from Jubril and a goal each from Azeez and Jamiu completed the emphatic win for the Farouk Yusuf–tutored side.

The NLO outfit will next face Gallant FA on Friday, November 14, at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, by 9 a.m., as they continue their series of pre-season friendlies.

Former Coca-Cola Academy coach, Farouk Yusuf, praised his team’s performance, noting that Rescue FC proved to be a tough opponent despite the convincing scoreline.

“This result was impressive, and I’ve identified areas we still need to work on before the new season begins.
My boys started slowly, but they’re disciplined and full of energy. The tactical instructions were well executed, which reflected in the result of this game,” he said.

Yusuf added that Best Talent FC’s current record of 20 wins, 2 losses, and 4 draws demonstrates their strong mentality and readiness for the upcoming season.
