Bendel Insurance FC have announced a mid-season break to allow players and members of the technical crew to spend the remainder of the yuletide period with their families. The decision follows a convincing 2–0 home victory over Kwara United in Benin, which capped a strong run of form for the Benin Arsenals.
The five-day break began on Monday, December 29, 2025, and will end on Friday, January 2, 2026. All players are expected to return to camp on Friday evening, with training scheduled to resume on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
In a statement, the club’s management wished players, officials, stakeholders, supporters, and fans a happy and prosperous New Year. General Manager Charles Ihimekpen urged the players to remain disciplined during the break and return refreshed as the team prepares for the second round of the 2025/2026 NPFL season, which resumes on January 14, 2026.
Management also commended the players and technical crew for their hard work and discipline, particularly since Kennedy Boboye assumed duties as head coach and technical manager on October 13, a period that has seen the club move out of the danger zone and regain momentum.
