Bayern Munich Rule Out Exits for Luis Diaz and Michael Olise

Bayern Munich chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen has dismissed speculation surrounding the futures of Luis Diaz and Michael Olise, insisting both players will remain with the Bundesliga champions for the 2026-27 season. Speaking at a press event in Munich, Dreesen described the transfer rumours as unfounded and made it clear the club has received no approaches for either winger.

Olise has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid following his impressive performances for France during their run to the FIFA World Cup semi-finals. However, Dreesen said Bayern had not received any contact from the Spanish giants, stressing there had been no phone calls, emails or formal offers regarding the 24-year-old attacker.

Diaz has also been the subject of transfer speculation, with reports suggesting clubs from the Saudi Pro League were preparing a lucrative offer. Dreesen rejected those claims as well, saying Bayern would be "foolish" to consider selling the Colombian winger given the quality of the squad and its ambitions for the upcoming campaign.

Both Diaz and Olise remain under long-term contracts until 2029, reinforcing Bayern's intention to build around the pair as key figures in their attack. The club views the duo as central to its plans and has no interest in weakening the squad ahead of another push for domestic and European honours.

Dreesen also expressed optimism over Harry Kane's future at the Allianz Arena. The Bayern CEO revealed there is mutual interest in extending the England captain's contract beyond next summer, although discussions are still ongoing. Kane celebrated his 33rd birthday on Tuesday after another prolific season in which he scored 61 goals and contributed seven assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.
