Victor Okoh Boniface, the Super Eagles and Bayer 04 Leverkusen striker, has earned his fifth nomination for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
Throughout the season, the 23-year-old has consistently delivered outstanding performances for Die Werkself, contributing significantly both at the Bay Arena and in away matches, guiding Xabi Alonso's team to the top of the Bundesliga standings.
In fifteen league starts, the Nigerian forward has showcased his scoring prowess and creativity by netting ten goals and providing seven assists.
Boniface's presence in the team has contributed to Leverkusen's impressive tally of 81 goals across all competitions this season, maintaining an unbeaten record.
Since his transfer from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, Boniface has previously secured the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award on four occasions.
Standing at 1.91 meters tall, the striker is once again nominated alongside RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons and S.C. Freiburg's Merlin Röhl.
Despite his notable performance last month, where he scored three goals and assisted two, Boniface will be sidelined for the AFCON tournament and approximately four months due to an adductor injury sustained just two days ago.
