In a surprising development, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) debutants Barau FC of Kano have announced the suspension of their Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso.
The decision comes after an internal review of the club’s performance in the first half of the 2025/2026 NPFL season.
The Maliya Boys, who have struggled in their maiden top-flight campaign, confirmed that Bosso will step aside immediately, with the Assistant Coach appointed as interim head coach ahead of the second stanza.
The club expressed appreciation for Bosso’s dedication and service during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Barau FC currently sit 17th on the NPFL standings with 21 points from 19 matches, registering five wins, seven draws, and eight losses.
With the second half of the season approaching, the club hopes the managerial change will spark improved results as they fight to maintain their NPFL status.
