Barau FC has continued its comprehensive restructuring process ahead of the 2026/2027 football season, with the club's General Manager, Dominic Iorfa, confirming the retention of key technical, administrative and backroom personnel while announcing the disengagement of some staff members.

According to the club, the decision forms part of an ongoing reorganisation aimed at strengthening its operational structure and positioning the team for a successful campaign in the new season.

Within the technical department, the club has retained Technical Adviser Eugene Agagbe, Chief Coach Madu Muhammad, Goalkeeper Trainer Dahiru Dalhatu and Physiotherapist Sirajo Mukhtar.

On the administrative side, the Club Secretary remains in office alongside the entire six-man media team.

Also retained are Umar Lawan Yusuf (TMS Manager), Dr. Sani Idris (Club Doctor), Nafi'u Usman (Masseur), Ibrahim Sani (Curator I), Abubakar Shehu (Curator II) and Idris Musa Abubakar (Chief Security Officer). The club also confirmed that all four of its drivers will continue in their respective roles for the forthcoming season.

While announcing the restructuring, the management expressed profound appreciation to the staff members whose appointments have been affected, acknowledging their commitment, professionalism and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Barau FC.

The club directed all affected personnel to hand over all club property, official documents and equipment to the Club Secretary on or before Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Meanwhile, Barau FC disclosed that appointments to strategic positions, including Coordinator, Sporting Director, Technical Director and Welfare Officer, will be announced in due course as the restructuring exercise progresses.

The restructuring reflects the club's determination to strengthen its organisational framework ahead of the new campaign. With key personnel retained and additional appointments expected, Barau FC is focused on building a solid foundation for the 2026/2027 season.
