Arsenal Step Up Pursuit of Bruno Guimaraes with Direct Newcastle Talks

Arsenal have intensified their efforts to sign Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes by entering direct negotiations with the Magpies over a potential transfer.

After earlier contacts were conducted through intermediaries, club officials are now engaged in formal discussions as the Premier League champions look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is understood to be open to a move to the Emirates Stadium and is keen to join Mikel Arteta's squad. However, an agreement has yet to be reached, with Newcastle standing firm over their valuation of one of their most influential players.
