Premier League giants Arsenal have extended new contract offers to two Nigerian-eligible young talents, Daniel Oyetunde and Cam’ron Ismail, as preparations for the 2025–2026 season gather pace.
Insider Jeorge Bird, familiar with Arsenal’s youth setup, confirmed that both players—graduates of the Hale End Academy—have been offered their first professional contracts, ending uncertainties about their futures at the club.
Currently in the final year of their scholarship agreements, Oyetunde and Ismail face the prospect of becoming free agents if they do not sign new terms before their deals expire on June 30, 2025.
Daniel Oyetunde, known for his versatility as a forward, made several appearances for Arsenal’s U18 side during the recent season, competing in the U18 Premier League, U18 Premier League Cup, and the FA Youth Cup.
He was also involved in the UEFA Youth League and Premier League 2 squads, scoring goals against West Ham United and Leicester City, while providing two assists in the U18 Premier League campaign.
Cam’ron Ismail, a left-back eligible for Nigeria, England, and Egypt, had an active season across various youth competitions such as the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2, UEFA Youth League, EFL Trophy, and U18 Premier League Cup.
Ismail’s highlight came in April when he scored his first competitive goal for Arsenal youth teams in a fixture against Crystal Palace U18s, solidifying his reputation as a promising talent nurtured at Arsenal since the U15 level.
