Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso has commenced preparations for the new football season, with newly appointed Technical Adviser, Coach Fatai Akande, taking charge of the club's rebuilding process after a seven-week break.
The Ajilete Warriors held their first training session on Tuesday under the supervision of Akande's assistant, with four players participating in the opening workout.
The club expects more retained players to join the camp in the coming days, while several invited league players are also expected to arrive for screening as the technical crew begins evaluating talent for the new campaign.
Training sessions are expected to gather momentum as more players report to camp, giving the new coaching crew the opportunity to assess the squad and identify players capable of strengthening the team ahead of the season.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Ministry of Youth and Sports is expected to announce the remaining members of the club's technical crew, management team, and support staff in the coming days as preparations continue for the new football season.
With the rebuilding process now underway, Crown FC will be looking to assemble a competitive squad capable of meeting the club's objectives. The pre-season programme is expected to play a key role in shaping the team ahead of the start of the new campaign.
