After Federation Cup Triumph, Kwara United Announces 10-Day Break

Newly crowned champions of the 2025 President Federation Cup, Kwara United, have announced a 10-day break for players and officials, starting Monday, July 1.

The club’s management confirmed that the team will reconvene on Thursday, July 11, to begin full preparations for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season and their upcoming campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Harmony Boys made history last weekend by clinching their first-ever national trophy at the grand finale of the President Federation Cup in Lagos.

Kwara United defeated giant-slayers Abakaliki FC of Ebonyi State 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time, sealing an unforgettable victory and securing continental qualification.

The short break is aimed at giving players and staff time to recover and reset before entering what is expected to be a demanding new season domestically and on the African stage.
