Kelechi Iheanacho confirmed his full fitness for the crucial Africa Cup of Nations clash against Cote d'Ivoire, dispelling earlier doubts stemming from an injury at Leicester City. Training fully with the national team in Abidjan, Iheanacho expressed his readiness for the game and emphasized his commitment to serving Nigeria.

In a media statement in Abidjan, Iheanacho stated, "I am feeling really good. I was out for some time, but I am ready to go now. I am 100% and ready to serve the country." While aiming for a fourth AFCON title in Cote d'Ivoire, he emphasized the team's focus on taking one game at a time.

Expressing the team's ambition, Iheanacho said, "At this AFCON, we want to go all the way, but we have to take it one game at a time, and we want all Nigerians to support us." Despite external skepticism, he urged belief and hard work within the team, emphasizing the need to stay prepared for the upcoming game against the strong Ivorian side, who are the hosts.

In conclusion, Iheanacho highlighted the importance of readiness, stating, "Going into the next game, we need to be ready to face the Ivorians. They are the hosts, and they are going to go out strong. So, we need to be well-prepared to face them."
