Posted : 10 November 2023
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that it will launch online ticket sales for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 on November 11.

In a statement on the CAF website on Thursday, it was stated that the goal is to attract football fans from across the continent and beyond to this African football event.

"Sales will commence online on November 11, with the first phase exclusively open to VISA payment card holders.

"Two days later, on November 13, public sales will be available on the platform.

Tickets can be purchased at http://tickets.cafonline.com/AFCON.

This move aims to provide fans with the opportunity to secure their tickets well in advance of the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.

The federation has also revealed that a fully functional and user-friendly platform has been developed on the CAF website to create a pleasant and seamless experience for interested individuals.

Veron Mosengo-Omba, CAF General Secretary, stated that the federation is committed to providing access to thousands of football fans who will travel to Cote d’Ivoire to watch the event.

"Online ticket sales will enhance the ticketing experience for fans of African football and the general public.

"The support from stakeholders has been tremendous, and we are hopeful that we will meet the increasing demands of fans and the general public," he said.

It was also mentioned that 25 percent of the tickets for the group stage will be available during this phase of sales, allowing fans to secure their seats for the 34th edition of this biennial football fiesta.

Ticket prices range from 5000 FCFA (approximately 8 US Dollars) for Category Three (3), 10000 FCFA (approximately 16 US Dollars) for Category Two (2), and 15000 FCFA (approximately 24 US Dollars).

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the group stage with a limit of six tickets per household.

The African football fiesta is scheduled to kick off in the Ivorian cities of Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
