AC Milan close to signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek

AC Milan is on the verge of signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The 27-year-old, who has represented England on ten occasions, has been associated with Stamford Bridge since his youth days and has also been loaned out to Crystal Palace and Fulham.
 
During his time at Chelsea, Loftus-Cheek has achieved notable success, including two Premier League titles, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup. As Chelsea aims to balance their financial books, several players have departed the club this summer.
 
On Sunday, Kalidou Koulibaly completed his move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, while N'Golo Kante has joined Saudi champions Al-Ittihad. Additionally, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is nearing a transfer to Al-Ahli.
 
There have also been rumors surrounding other Chelsea players. Manchester United has shown interest in midfielder Mason Mount, but their multiple bids for him have been rejected. Meanwhile, midfielder Kai Havertz is close to finalizing a move to Arsenal.
 
In November, FIFA modified its policy just two days before the commencement of the World Cup in Qatar, implementing a ban on alcohol sales in all eight stadiums hosting the tournament.
