Abakaliki FC Coach Anistar Demands Early Preparation for 2026/27 NNL Promotion Push

Abakaliki FC head coach Starplus Anistar has emphasized the critical need for early preparation ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season. The manager is determined to avoid past mistakes by implementing a structured and timely pre-season schedule. He believes that starting work immediately will give the club a competitive edge in their quest for top-flight football.

Anistar recently spoke about his tactical vision and the importance of a professional approach to recruitment. He stated that the new season is only a few months away and the team must take action now. The coach noted that he does not subscribe to a "fire brigade approach" for team management.

The gaffer is preparing for his first full term as the official head coach of the Ebonyi-based side. The primary objective for the 2026/2027 season is to earn promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Anistar understands that the NNL is a physically demanding league with very little room for error. He is confident that early administrative and technical preparations will satisfy the fans' hunger for elite football in Abakaliki.
