2026 ValueJet Cup: Oshomo shines in Inter Lagos’ 2-1 victory over Doma United

Former Akwa United defender Oshomo Olamilekan Tosin continued to make a strong impression for Inter Lagos as the newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side defeated Doma United 2-1 at the ongoing ValueJet Pre-season Tournament in Ikenne, Ogun State.

Oshomo was instrumental in helping Inter Lagos maintain their defensive shape throughout the encounter, producing another assured display as the Lagos-based club continued its preparations for the new NPFL season.

The defender has now played every minute of Inter Lagos’ campaign at the pre-season tournament, completing 180 minutes across the team’s opening matches.

His consistency at the back has provided a major boost for Inter Lagos, who are fine-tuning their squad ahead of their maiden appearance in the NPFL.

Oshomo joined the Lagos club from Sportive De Clube after his contract with the Beninese outfit expired, bringing experience and defensive strength to the newly promoted side.

His performances in Ikenne have already marked him out as one of the players to watch as Inter Lagos build towards their historic debut in Nigeria’s top-flight league.

With the new season drawing closer, Oshomo will be hoping to maintain his impressive form and help Inter Lagos establish themselves among the country’s elite clubs.
