2026 President Federation Cup: El-Kanemi, Wikki renew fierce rivalry in semi-final showdown

A place in the final of the President Federation Cup will be at stake when El-Kanemi Warriors FC face long-time rivals Wikki Tourists FC in a highly anticipated semi-final clash at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.

Speaking ahead of the match, Chairman of El-Kanemi Warriors FC, Alhaji Waziri Isa Mai Qatar, expressed optimism about his team's chances.

“We are in Katsina to win. The boys are in high spirits, and the level of preparedness is very high. The players are motivated, and the government has already met some of their demands. In sha Allah, we will clinch the ticket to the final,” he said.

With morale high within the camp, the Desert Warriors will be banking on their experience and momentum to overcome the challenge posed by Wikki Tourists.

For the Bauchi-based side, the semi-final presents an opportunity to halt El-Kanemi's march and book a place in the final, setting the stage for an intense battle between two familiar foes.
