Abraysports FC are on the verge of securing a place in the Nationwide League One (NLO) playoffs, with prolific forward Solomon Olamilekan playing a decisive role in the club's impressive campaign at the Ilorin Center.

The young striker has been instrumental in Abraysports' rise to the top of their group, contributing six goals and two assists in just five matches.

Despite his impressive individual numbers, Olamilekan insists the team's objective remains the priority.

"We have come too far to lose focus," he said. "Our determination is high, and the goal is to emerge champions of the Kwara Center and secure the NNL slot through the playoffs."

The forward also expressed confidence that his scoring form can continue throughout the remainder of the competition.

"With the support of my teammates, I believe I can score more goals, finish as the highest goalscorer and MVP of the Ilorin Center, and carry that form into the playoffs," he added.

While nurturing dreams of representing the Super Eagles and playing for a top European club in the future, the youngster remains focused on improving his game and helping Abraysports achieve promotion.

Olamilekan credited the club's leadership, particularly Chairman Mallam Yussuf Abdullahi Adekunle and the coaching crew, for creating an environment that has aided his development.

"I appreciate my coach for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to showcase my ability. Our chairman has been a mentor and a major source of motivation for all of us. We want to repay his faith with success," he said.
