2026/2207 Euromatch NPFL Match Day 4: Zulkifilu strikes late as Ranchers Bees edge Bendel Insurance

Ranchers Bees secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bendel Insurance on Saturday, with Mohammed Rabiu Zulkifilu scoring the decisive goal in the 79th minute in their 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Four encounter.

The match at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano remained closely contested after both sides exchanged goals in the second half.

Ranchers Bees broke the deadlock four minutes after the restart when Chiedozie Jude Okorie scored in the 49th minute.

Bendel Insurance responded 17 minutes later, with Lekan Gabriel restoring parity in the 66th minute.

With the contest heading towards a tense finish, Zulkifilu produced the decisive moment, finding the net in the 79th minute to give Ranchers Bees all three points.

The goal took Zulkifilu’s tally to five in four matches, underlining his strong start to the new NPFL campaign.

The victory gives Ranchers Bees another important result in the early stages of the season, while Bendel Insurance were left to rue their inability to protect the equaliser.
