2026/2027 Season: El-Kanemi Warriors Appoint Usman Abbas as New Captain

El-Kanemi Warriors FC have appointed experienced defender Usman Abbas as the club’s new captain ahead of the 2026/2027 football season.

The club described the appointment as a recognition of Abbas’ dedication, professionalism and commitment to the team over the years.

Abbas, a former FIFA U-17 World Cup winner and two-time President Federation Cup champion, has established himself as one of the country’s accomplished full-backs, bringing considerable experience to the leadership role.
