2026/2027 NPFL: Enyimba Target Back-to-Back Wins Against Ranchers Bees

Posted : 07 November 2026

Enyimba International FC will be aiming to record back-to-back victories in the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) when they take on Ranchers Bees in a Matchday 12 fixture on Sunday.

The nine-time Nigerian champions travelled to Abuja aboard United Nigeria Airlines on Saturday ahead of their encounter, which is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.

The People's Elephant approach the match with renewed confidence following their narrow 1-0 victory over Kun Khalifat FC in Aba on November 1. The result provided a much-needed boost after an inconsistent beginning to their league campaign.

However, Enyimba face an opponent equally determined to collect maximum points, as Ranchers Bees are battling to move away from the relegation zone.

Enyimba currently sit 17th in the standings with 11 points from 11 matches, having recorded three wins, two draws and six defeats. Ranchers Bees occupy 19th position with nine points from 10 games.

The Kaduna-based side have endured a difficult campaign, managing just two victories alongside three draws and five losses. Their 1-1 draw against Inter Lagos in their previous outing extended their winless run, increasing the pressure on the team to deliver a positive result.

Sunday's meeting therefore presents an important opportunity for both clubs. Enyimba will be looking to build on their recent victory and climb the league table, while Ranchers Bees hope to take advantage of home support to secure three crucial points.

Interestingly, Ranchers Bees will stage the encounter in Minna after moving their home fixtures to the Bako Kontagora Stadium due to ongoing rehabilitation work at their original ground in Kaduna. The club had previously used the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano as its temporary home venue.

Meanwhile, Enyimba's journey aboard United Nigeria Airlines highlights the continued partnership between the club and the aviation company, which has regularly assisted with the team's domestic travel arrangements.

The collaboration offers convenient transportation for the players and technical crew, allowing them to focus on their football commitments as the season progresses.

With both teams desperate for valuable points, Sunday's encounter promises to be a significant test of Enyimba's renewed momentum and Ranchers Bees' determination to revive their struggling campaign.
