2026/2027 EuroMatch: Ranchers Bees Turn to Ma’aji Muhammad After Abdullah Exit

Posted : 20 October 2026

Ranchers Bees Kaduna have appointed Ma’aji Muhammad as head coach following their separation from Technical Adviser Usman Abdullah and some members of the technical crew by mutual agreement.

Muhammad, who previously managed Niger Tornadoes, takes charge as the Kaduna-based club seeks to reverse its disappointing run in the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The club announced Abdullah’s departure in an official statement, thanking him and the departing technical crew members for their contributions while wishing them success in their future endeavours.

The coaching change comes after Ranchers Bees endured a difficult opening to the campaign, recording two wins, two draws, and five defeats in nine matches.

The Bees have accumulated eight points and currently occupy 18th position on the league table, leaving the new coach with the immediate task of improving results.

Muhammad is expected to bring his experience and tactical expertise to the team as the club seeks greater consistency and a climb up the standings.

His appointment marks a fresh start for Ranchers Bees, with the former Niger Tornadoes tactician now responsible for steering the team towards its season objectives.
