2026/2027 Euromatch NPFL Matchday 6: Kwara United Step Up Preparations for Kun Khalifat Test

Kwara United have stepped up preparations for Sunday's Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter against Kun Khalifat, with the Harmony Boys putting the final touches to their plans in Owerri.

The Ilorin-based side held a training session at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Saturday, using their familiarity with the venue to fine-tune their tactical approach ahead of the crucial Matchday 6 fixture.

Coach Ashifat Sulyman and his technical crew put the players through a series of tactical drills and match-specific exercises, with particular emphasis on positioning, concentration and execution.

The intensity of the session reflected the importance attached to the fixture, as the players worked to achieve the physical and mental sharpness required for another demanding league outing.

Kwara United also have additional options to strengthen their squad, with Suraj Ayeleso, Jack Benjamin, Ada Adam Alao Mohammed and Jimmy Daniel travelling with the team and available for selection.

The Harmony Boys will enter the encounter looking to build on the confidence gained from Wednesday's thrilling North Central derby against Nasarawa United.

With preparations now entering their final stage, Kwara United will be aiming to turn their improved performances into another positive result when they face Kun Khalifat at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.
